GeForce 7600GT vs GeForce 7600GS

I'm getting a new card this week. I don't need it for anything extremely taxing, just games (most demanding being F.E.A.R. from what I've heard out of my small library).

I'm stuck between these two:

I don't wanna spend too much, especially considering I don't have that much and I'm gonna be building a new comp at the end of the year anyways, but I need something to do better than this temporary 16MB card I have now (my 256MB card went out). And if you wonder why I don't build a new comp now, I don't have the money, I'm getting a majority of my cash right at the end of the year.

Anyways, I see them both being the same prices, and having many specs the same as well. I'm just wondering which one you think would be a better one to grab. The comp is mainly just gonna have games like WarCraft III and CS:S played mostly, and I'll be playing F.E.A.R. on it until the end of the year. I'll be handin' the comp down to my brother when I get my new one, so I don't want a throw away card or anything, I'd rather have one that will last a while.

EDIT: I have no clue what Wattage or anything my PSU is. It's built directly into the computer underneath the rest of the case, and I cannot access it. I assume it's a 550W at the least considering what the comp came with from factory, though it might be a 450W or something.

Hi,
The 7600GS is basically an underclocked GT, so if the price is the same - get the GT.
The GS needs 27 Watts, the GT 36 Watts.

Wait, so the 512MB GS is underclocked GT?

Guess I still have a lot to learn with the specs and tweaks for Vid Cards and other Hardware >.<

I would get the GT. It has less, but faster RAM than the GS (and it's 5$ cheaper with the rebate

Thanks a lot, I'll definitely be asking for suggestions and whatnot when I get closer to wanting to build my new rig later.
