3 or 4 Monitor Support

I've been trying to get a computer to run 3 or 4 monitors.
The first video card is a pci-e 16.
If I add a pci video card the computer becomes unstable or blue screens.
Anyone have an success as possibly using a pci-e x1 or just bite the bullet and buy a quad card?

OS: is Windows XP

what PCI card are you using?

You dont need Quad cards for 4 monitors, you only need Two cards that have both DVI / VGA ports on the back

In otherwards - Two cards in SLI.

Actually, in an SLI setup the outputs on the secondary card are disabled. Under Windows 98 and higher you need only add more cards.
