DDR/DDR2 memory question

Hello,

Im looking to buy a new graphics card and most seem to be running DDR2 on board memory. My question is: My motherboard (Intel 915 chipset) runs DDR RAM memory, will I be able to run a DDR2 graphics card on it (I have PCI-E)??

Yes it'll work.

To elaborate further, the RAM on the video card runs independently of the RAM in the computer. The speeds, then, can be different since they won't be working in conjunction.
