Re: Dunno What Graphics Card Is right for me
Hi, welcome to TSF
![]() Your computer has a PCI-E slot for video cards. Are you going to use the card for games (which games?) or something else? The HP website does not mention what power supply is in the computer - but you will most likely have to upgrade that too when you put in a new video card. |

Re: Dunno What Graphics Card Is right for me
In the US - Newegg
In the UK - Ebuyer Those are, of course, only examples. I'll have a look at the manual for your computer to make sure you can use a standard power supply. |

Re: Dunno What Graphics Card Is right for me
First of all you need a pci express card, and if you are going midrange look at nvidia as they take way less power then a ati card of the same proformance (meaning you will spend less on a psu)

Re: Dunno What Graphics Card Is right for me
well it says (on the best buy site) I can only go up to 256MB card
so a card like that and what games? well not much really but I want the latest graphics. I mean I want the best graphics but if it's too expensive or my cpu can't do it then I'm happy with anything else the best game I really wanna play is city off heros because I'm a superhero fan lol and it's not on xbox :( lol |

Re: Dunno What Graphics Card Is right for me
Your grafics card is only limited by the slot and psu you can use any pci e card if you have the psu for it, The 7600gt would be a good choice http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16814130062

Re: Dunno What Graphics Card Is right for me
Good choice 1 g0t 0wn3d. City of heroes doesn't demand much graphics "power". If that game is all that you want to play I think you can get a cheaper (and less power consuming) card. I'll have a look. Do you live in the US?

Re: Dunno What Graphics Card Is right for me
It is the same GPU, but just at a slower speed. Basically, a little less performance. Both are very power efficient and good choices.
