[SOLVED] Big problem with my new geforce 7600 DDR2 512 MB graphics card

The graphics card does not put anything out through the monitor cord. When I plug the monitor cord into the graphics card, I get the message on my monitor:

SELF TEST
CHECK YOUR PC
AND SIGNAL CABLE
MONITOR IS WORKING

I'm quite stumped as to whether I need to send back my graphics card or if there is some solution to this problem.

Note that the monitor works fine and functions properly when plugged into the motherboard.

Nevermind this, the problem is solved.
