blue screen of death
Hey all I need some help. I just went thru getting my system back up and I have now got the blue screen of death. The message on it states the following.
WellI thought that everything was alright until MS started loading all of their patches. I then got the blue screen of death again. It stated the following, The device driver got stuck in an infinite loop. This usually indicates problem with the device itself or with the device driver programming the hardware incorrectly. Then it says to check with the hardware device vendor for any driver updates. it also says beginning dump of physical memory then physical memory dump complete. A My question is which driver am i looking for and to which device. Is it the C drive(hard drive) that has gone bad and needs to be replaced? Thanks for your help in advanced |

Re: blue screen of death
If the machine will boot go into device manager and check for red or
yellow flags. If not try to go into safe mode, and check, you may or may not find the problem in safe mode because of the lack of drivers being loaded in safe mode. Its a process of elimination, did you install motherboard drivers? "chipset" Double check all connections. I would not automatically assume its the harddrive.

Re: blue screen of death
Device manager display adapters. I would just go to nvidia and download
the driver for your card and be done with it. The new driver should overide the old, and your problem will be solved. Make sure you installed mobo drivers, as mentioned.
