radeon 9000 tv-out doesn't function

I have a radeon 9000 video card and I connected it with a s-video/scart cable to my tv. My tv has a s-video option in the menu but I can't get a proper screen. It keeps scrolling, the colours change and it flickers. My computer doesn't detect the tv and I have to force the detection to get something on the tv at all. I put the resolution on 800x600 I put it on 60Hz but nothing helps. On the scart cable the cables are connected on 13 15 17 and 20. I installed omega drivers, I tried every 'pal' option but no change. I have no clue how to solve this, maybe someone else does?

Did you try NTSC? If not, give that a try. How does it flicker? Can you describe it better?

I tried ntsc but it didn't work. The screen is moving all the time, I see the background in blue, than in red than in yellow, etc. it goes black and than comes back all the time.

What inputs does this TV have? What kind of TV is it?

Are you doing TV out through the Catalyst Control Center?

my tv has a antenna input and two scart inputs. I can't get a type number of my tv, but it's salora. It's with nokia technology but that's all i can find.

How are you using the S-video out with the Scart connector?

I use a cable with on one side a scart block and on the other a s-video connection.

I tried to make a connection with a 's-video to composite' plug - composite cable - and a scart plug (with three inputs; red with yellow). Now I get a better view, but it is black and with... I guess I should rearrange the connections in the s-video/scart cable and than it should work.
