Possible to make a pci card faster?

Well ive been playing with a fairly new system but its pci only, any ways i put a 3d fuzion fx 5500 in it and games run slow, clocked memory and core still a bit slower then wanted so,i figure its the card, since its pci and just wondering if i can make it faster?

You can try to OC it or OC the PCI frequency, but that depends on how good your board and card is.

????O_o?????? over clocking a pci frequency? ive never heard of that, i have an oem board and bios,its an hp machine so would i have to jump it or new bios or get a neat little app?

I have an old board, from 2001 and I OC the PCI frequency using ClockGen to 84MHz, with a little RAM and CPU OC linked to it aswell as they move up synchronously.

Differs from board to board. Whatever's fully stable is safe.

Usually it's very hard to increase the frequency and get stability.
