Black screen in PowerDVD on Monitor 2?
The problem in short:
If I enable monitor 2 (CRT projector connected through DVI-VGA converter) and start a movie in PowerDVD, then drag it over to monitor 2, the movie remains completely black. If I drag it back to monitor 1, image is there. I used to have this problem before, got around it by assigning monitor 2 as primary, so that starting powerdvd would open it on monitor 2 directly. That way it'd work. Then last few months, somehow, it worked as should (or should not?), could drag it over and back and image would show regardless, on either screen. After the recent change of motherboard and reinstallation of Windows and drivers, however, things went back to 'tits up'. ![]() Anybody who knows what the problem is? I reckon it's to do with the different resolutions or such... running 1680 x 1050 on screen 1, 22" Widescreen TFT. The 2nd screen is my CRT projector, running 720p (1280 x 720). On a sidenote, I used to be able to select 50Hz for the 2nd screen, which for some reason is dealt with better by the CRT, in comparison to the 'standard' 60Hz. I can't any longer, however. Needing powerstrip for it now. Any clue for this? Hoping for some help here. Don't like it when things just don't make sense and appear to change for no apparent reason...
