don't go overboard on the bidding though, a single 8800gtx will be at least as fast as two 7900gtx in sli, so its possibly better if you just sell your 7900 and get a 8800, its also dx10 compatible. |

Re: where to buy xfx
An X1950XT will be more powerful and less expensive. But an 8800GTS 320MB would be better than all those choices as it can do about 10 times more shader operations per second than the 7900GTX!

Re: where to buy xfx
About $400. An 8800GTS 640 MB also goes for about $400

Re: where to buy xfx
i dont think you guys understand his situation... he has a 7900gtx. he was looking to buy one more for sli. what he meant by how much does it sell for, is how much can he sell it for... certainly not 400. on ebay it could probably fetch around 250-300 since its hard to find one for sale for people who might want to sli it. a 8800gts 640 would be good too, but i would personally get the gtx.

Re: where to buy xfx
I see. I would sell the 7900GTX and buy an 8800GTX with the money. It will be much more cost effective and will be more powerful.
