Question Hardware Transform & Lighting ???

Hi,

I'm looking to buy this video card, Visiontek Radeon X1300 (256MB GDDR2 PCI)

Well yesterday my dad bought two games that say they require/recommend:

"32Mb DirectX 9 compatible video card with Hardware Transform & Lighting (HW-T&L)"

I don't see that specifically mentioned in the description of the Radeon X1300. Is that something that would be included in the capabilities of this card, or is it a situation where if they don't mention it specifically (HW-T&L) then it's not included?

The games he bought are:
Call of Duty "Game of the Year Edition"
Marine Sharpshooter "Golden Bullet Edition" (includes Marine Sharpshooter and Marine Sharpshooter 2: Jungle Warfare)

Re: Hardware Transform & Lighting ???

Hardware TnL has been a standard feature since nVidia started including it with the GeForce 256 cards a million years ago (actually about 8) and I can assure you that your X1300 has it as well. Only downside is that it's a PCI card, not AGP or PCI-Express.

Re: Hardware Transform & Lighting ???

There the types of slots the computer has to upgrade. Yours only has pci which isn't really made for video upgrade but is possible. However I would get this card for arround that price.

Little more powerful and supports newer dx10 games.
