[resolved]GeForce 8600 GT
What's up?
I have installed a GeForce 8600 GT card into my PCI-E slot. The card and drivers work fine....untill I try and play a game and it says no video card. I have an on board graphics card, ATI x1250. It did not perform very well for gaming. So I upgraded but can't figure out how to turn of the on board graphics so that the comp will recognize the 8600! Any suggestions??? |

Re: GeForce 8600 GT
Probably a setting in bios to enable pci-e. That should do it. Make sure
the extra power dongle is inserted on new video card. Make sure your power supply will be up to the task, power hungry pci-e cards.
