ok im new to forums but ok, my computers power supply has just blown out and i replaced it, but the problem now is the video lags after i instelled the new power supply, it use to never lag. my computer has a pentum d it has 2 gigs and two gigs of ram, my video card is nvidia Geforce 73000 gs

Hi Darkshadow, welcome to TSF
Did you connect all the power connectors properly? Enter your full specs into this power calculator to see if your new PSU is strong enough for your system, and add 30% to the total to allow for PSU inefficiency. Copy down the details from the PSU label (make/model, total watts, amps for +3.3V, +5V and +12V) and post back.

Can you post the volts/amps details from the label on the side of the PSU? It will look something like this.....
![]() If you get 453W without adding the 30%, then the real total is 588W and you will need to be looking at a 600-650W supply. When the PSU blew up, it could have damaged other components like the RAM, drives, graphics card, etc. Have you tried testing the card in another computer?
