Heck of a way to introduce myself...HELP!
I'm having some major issues with my desktop computer....
Here's what's the history is and what's happening now. In the recent past when I rebooted after an upgrade/update the computer would boot fine then after a short while the screen would go all screwy and then freeze up and I get a message about a graphics error, I'd repeat this process a couple of times and everything would then be ok 'til I needed to reboot...the problem went away until today but now when I boot up the computer freezes before everything is loaded. I open the Task Master before boot up is complete and click the performance tab and the CPU usage goes up to 100% by the end of booting as well as the pagefile usage climbing near 400...after a several minutes the CPU goes back down but the pagefile stays above 300, the computer then can be used for a short while until the CPU begins to spike to 100 again and before long it will freeze up....HELP!!! Thanks for any help you can offer!!! John Last edited by swmnkdinthervr; 05-11-2007 at 08:29 AM. |

Re: Heck of a way to introduce myself...HELP!
you need to post the full error message and because it is pointing to a video error post in the video forum
i will move you to there what did you upgrade hardware or software if it was software do a system restore to before the update and see if the problem is gone if not post the error you receive in full
