Dell Inspirion 8200 Display Problems
I have a Dell 8200 Inspirion Laptop which is sevearl years old now. I just recently formatted the hard drive as I always do when it begins to lag too much. I installed all the drivers from the Dell site, and have all the windows updates installed. The problem is sometimes when boot up, the mouse pointer will start to disintegrate or some other part of the display. It eventually advances to where the entire screen is flashing on and off and the computer is unresponsive. I turn it off and reboot and the issue is gone, only to appear a few reboots later. Is this a hardware issue, a driver issue, or what?

Re: Dell Inspirion 8200 Display Problems
We had some 8100's here at work that crapped out on us the same way. Turns out the connectors between the board and the screens was going bad.
