want too install 2 monitors

howdy folks, have not been in here for awhile. i would like to set up two monitors on my desk, i have a huge L shaped desk. one for the main monitor and one off to the side to set up my nice new logitech steering wheel and pedels for my driving games. thus not having to remove the steering wheel and pedels when others want to use the computer. i'm running a ATI 1950 AGP so running twin monitors is not a problem. is there a trick to running just my driving games on the 2nd monitor or do i have to expand my desktop back and forth to each monitor every time to play this way. or is it just a simple.... ( wait nothing is simple its a computer ) any how as simple as just telling my games which monitor to play on ? my honey gave me the okay <---- ( very important ) on this and i really want to get it set up.

while not being up on the latest versions of catylist for ATI I presume it would be similar to nvidia. I just have to go in and change which monitor is the primary one.
