New Video card help.
I got a new PCI video card from a buddy, and I installed it on my machine, and enabled the PCI primary in BIOS. but it gets to the Windows XP loading screen then it goes to a black screen. How do I fix this?

Re: New Video card help.
did u uninstall the old drivers before changing the video card, if not that could be the cause of ur problem
try loading in safe mode, if safe mode works ok and u can get in, do a windows repair install and then install the correct drivers. |

Hi again hellrogue,
Have you disabled the onboard video? I've attached hellrogue's Everest report from an earlier thread. Nicholas report.txt |
