monitor problems
hello people
im new to this forum stuff so bear with me please. ok let me start, just built a new system Abit kn8 board athlon 3200 (64) cpu radeon 1600 pro pci express ok when i plug monitor(iiyama 19" crt) into card via vga plug i get no signal at it just says "no signal" on BUT when i plug in my old monitor ( compaq 17") every thing works fine can some one please explain and help thanks

Hi,
Are you using the same cable when you try the different monitor? If so, then I would try the problematic monitor on another computer, and if it doesn't work there, then the problem is with the monitor and it might be not usable anymore.

the one you posted is a crt the same as the old one,is it a crt or lcd
