Are you overclocking your video card? If so that's probably what's causing your artifacts so try backing off the OC some.
If not you could try updating your drivers. You can download the latest drivers HERE.
Another possible cause is heat. Does the 9550 have active cooling? (heatsink and fan) If your GPU gets to hot it'll cause the tearing and artifacts your are getting. Do you get the artifacting right away in doom and quake or does it happen after you,ve been playing for awhile? If you get it only after playing for awhile it's more than likely a heat related issue. Check your temp before you start playing and when you start getting the artifacts, jump to desktop real quick and see what you temp is at that point. Post your findings back here.
If you don't have a temp monitoring tool download Sensorview.

Re: computer wont read EITHER hard drive

Glad you got the drives working (but I still think there's something 'fishy' about the connections between mobo and HDDs). Follow mattlocks's instructions concerning the graphics.

Re: computer wont read EITHER hard drive

Yes, please, the voltages. I can't remember right now - but I don't think we've looked at the PSU.

Re: computer wont read EITHER hard drive

Are these voltages from BIOS? Or a program in Windows? The 5V is wrong.

Re: computer wont read EITHER hard drive

Have you always had a problem play Doom and Quake?

Sensorview didn't help, because it didn't show your video card temps, but it's happening right away so it's probably not a heat issue.

Re: computer wont read EITHER hard drive

According to the Everest report you're using DirectX 8.1 - update to the latest version (9.0c).

Re: computer wont read EITHER hard drive

You can post a screenshot if you'd like.

Did you always have issues with doom and quake or did just recently start?
