WindowBlinds taking to much out of my graphic card?
Ok im' not 100% sure if this is the right spot, but o well i'll take a shot. Alright then, i've been using WindowBlinds recently, which is, pretty much customized skins for the computer. Since i was bored of the Windows XP skin. So i've been using alot of those, and now im' using something called 'WindowsFX" which, adds animation do the things u do. Example say if u open the menu part instead of appearing it will fade in or roll out etc same goes for opening a window. But it has been slowing down my computer and reading into the "Windows FX' it said that "Be carefull while these animations require a fairly powerful graphic card, and mine is only 128 mb, is this enough?

Re: WindowBlinds taking to much out of my graphic card?
if it runs, its enough, but everything good looking in my opinion uses unnecesary resources (like in your problem).
the fading in, etc. are using resources from your graphic card and cpu, thats why your computer is running slower then usual.

Re: WindowBlinds taking to much out of my graphic card?
First thing I'd recommend is a defrag and scandisk, just to get those out of the way. Defragging can help immensely sometimes. Next, how much system RAM do you have? For that application, you should have at least 1GB. Upgrading your graphics card will help too, but really if you're happy with everything else your current graphics card is doing (games, videos, etc.) there's not really any point to spend that money.

WB takes tons of resources and I can't possibly recommend it. I don't even run it on my own machine simply because there's not much use for it while I'm on it.
