[SOLVED] monitor not recognised on boot up

my graphics card (evga nvidia geforce 7300gt) doesnt recognise my monitor on boot up it takes several times to get it to work, i have tried on several monitors but it still does the same thing, it seems to take longer every day!
can anyone please help me or tell me about a similar problem and how it was fixed

what is it like in safe mode
list your system specs including the power supply
