Video card match?

My computer is kinda, well old, and the video card crapped out on me...I have a ATI 9550 thing, and Im wondering its it compatible with my compter, HP Pavillion a500n.

I know I can get the driver from the sticky here, just want to know if I should bother or not.

And I belive its the right type of slots, not sure if its PCI or AGP but it fits in the top most video card slot for my computer.

well your ati 9550 is an AGP card and if it fits in a slot on your motherboard then I'd use it. An AGP card won't fit in any other slot, so your motherboard supports it. Just download the drivers from ati and install them.

That will fit in no problem at all, you will notice a huge increase from the integrated graphics. The AGP card fits in the top slot, just push in and make sure its locked in and your ready to go.

That computer has one AGP slot, so yes, that card will work. The AGP slot will be a different color from the other PCI slots and will not be aligned with them, so it will be easy to tell which it is.
