Help with switching from NVIDI to ATI
i have been with nvidia for bout 5 years now, but ia m thinking of switching to ati.. are they any better? i had one a long time ago but i cannot remember much about it. also, would there be any compatability issues if i switch from ati to nvidia? please let me know ANYTHING!!!...thanks.....

The X1950 series of cards now are better than the GeForce 7900 cards. The X1950XTX will score better on 3Dmark than the 7900GTX. Also, the Radeon X850 cards are better than the 6800 cards. There shouldn't be any compatibility issues as long as they are the same slot, in this case, PCIe. Just note that AGP has very limited support for linux in terms of drivers.
