i agree with dai.
although i've used vga to vga before and it looks flawless to me.... when i buy my new TV im going to hook the computer up using VGA so i can save the HDMI for my HDTV cable connection... all depends on how many HDMI inputs you have and what else you use the TV for, i guess. |

DVI and HDMI are digital connections, so those will be the best.
Remember, HDMI does carry sound as well, so you won't get sound from the TV.

Sorry, I typed it "funky". What happens is HDMI does carry sound as well as video, but if you are using a DVI to HDMI adapter or cable, then you won't get any sound because the DVI does not carry sound (you have separate sound cables with DVI, and the adapters don't have sound inputs for HDMI), and you will have nothing traveling through the sound part of the HDMI cable, so you will get no sound.
