Newb SLI Help
Ok i have 2 asus Nvidia 7900gt/gto cards and just hooked them up SLI. When i first went into Day of Defeat: Source i had about 200fps but as people joined and maps got bigger my fps dropped to 20! Thats worse than what i had before. I am wondering if there is something i have done wrong in the set up or some sort of configuration that needs to be done other than setting up the hard ware the way it is supposed to. there are some options in the nvidia control panel that should be available to me now that i am running SLI but are still grey'ed out, that is what makes me think i am missing something.
my second thing is i was running dual display and now it is telling me i cant, is there a way to still have dual display maybe by hooking up a 3rd PCI vidcard and dedicating that for the second monitor. Thanks |

It almost sounds like your drivers may have gotten uninstalled, try a system restore to a day before this was a problem and see if that fixes it. If it doesn't, check the detail settings, you should be running most everything on highest settings, but there may be some option in the game that got accidentally changed. Also, do you have any other games to try? What happens if you run 3DMark06? Do you get an unusually low score?
