Second video card
I want to transfer VCR tapes to my pc. I have a nVIDIA GeForce FX card in already. Can I install a ATI card just to transfer the tapes and not hook it to a moniter?

Sorry, I thought I edited the post to show what the video card was. It is an ATI All in Wonder with S-Video in and out and CATV tuner. I also have the ATI input adapter to hook up to the VCR. Would it be ok to use the ATI just for video transfer?

It's a AWI 128 Pro. It's also a PCI interface. I got the software, it's a card from one of my earlier builds. Thanks for your imput, i'll install it and see what happens.
