Moniter won't turn on

Hi, my cpu has ben working fine for over a year untill yesterday. I woke up and switched it on but the moniter wouldn;t come to life (orange light instead of green) The pc also does not beep on start up.
I have tried:
-fixing all the wires in place securly
-tried with another working moniter, same problem
-all fans still working, gotten rid of dust aswell
-Power pack seems to be working, the fan is atleast
-Taken out video card and re fixed it
-taken out sticks of RAM one at a time

This is really annoying me ! please help.

My System

Your video card is probably dead, either that or the chipset that controls your VGA.. does your motherboard have an LCD on it with two-character codes? If so that would help diagnose the problem real fast

thanks for reply , unfortunatly no LCD's. I called a mate who said this happened to him aswell. Apparantly it was his MoBo packing in. I guess I'll try with a new graphics card first then change MoBo (uurrgh)

Other suggestion very welcome !!!
