Help please with HD Monitor

Hi, I have a Gigabyte 6800gs. I have been fiddling around for a while trying to get the componet output to work with an hdtv and look good, and I'm pretty fed up. So recently I went and looked for HD Monitors. The one i found is http://www.circuitcity.com/ssm/Gateway-22-Widescreen-Monitor-FPD2275W/sem/rpsm/oid/165326/rpem/ccd/productDetail.do#tabs

It's a Gateway 22", and apparently very nice. What concerns me most is this part, "Ready for HD: The integrated Faroudja DCDi™ video processor delivers amazingly sharp detail. Enjoy high definition support for 720p through the DVI-D connection with HDCP." Everyone who reviewed it said they had like an 8800 or something really good. Does anyone know if my graphics card will work with this monitor?

Thanks.

720p means that it'll use a resolution of 1280x720 in a progressive-scan mode. The 6800 series is more than capable of handling that so you should do just fine.

Sorry if it wasn't clear, but I underlined HDCP as my point of interest.

Ah, sorry.

The 6800GS doesn't support HDCP, you'll need a 78xx or 79xx series for that. The 88xx series also supports that.

So I need HDCP to use that monitor? Or it supports HDCP? is really what I'm asking.
