Turning a Dell office computer into a wow running machine
My friend just got a used office computer dell with an intel pentium 4 2.79 gig processor, 256 mb ddr ram, and he has an integrated video card.
He is used to playing wow on a crappy computer, he used to play it on his HP laptop from 2003 and it ran soooo bad like 6-11 frames max. Anyway he wants his new/used office computer to play it the same or better if he can so I was wondering. If he got his ram up to 1 or 2 gigs, and got this video card JATON VIDEO-338PCI-DVI GeForce 6200 256MB 128-bit DDR PCI Low profile Video Card with L-P Bracket - Retail Oh yah, his computer is so basic it only has PCI slots, so theres the best pci card I could find on newegg. You think with the settings turned down he could get maybe 15-20 frames? Also is there a better PCI card than this one that you might recomend?

Moar RAM!!
Since this is designed to be used in an office it won't be much of a gaming rig. The other card that's about as powerful is the X1300 from ATi Technologies.

I have WoW running on the rig listed in my signature and also on my laptop. It has an integrated S3 UniChrome Pro II chipset which is only DX7 compatible (though it lacks hardware TnL) but runs WoW rather nicely in 16-bit mode.
