Which card should i get huh? i have a intel pen 3 1.0ghz,256ram,onboard vid,300w powersupply,agp4x slot. Which card would be better? would my system restrain e fx5200 from performing at its best? i understand that ati radeon 9250se is dx8 while 5200 is dx9... Which would be better for my computer? i understand that tis comp is really old and would not run modern games but i just want to play gunz online, conquer online and other stuff wif a decent fps... When i run conquer online, i get an average of 13fps.. Its really choppy and i dun really enjoy that.. The fx5200 is onli 10 dollars more than e 9250se though.

the fx5200 will be better. try to get a 128bit version they are limited but do exist. remember how much the fx5200 will cost you, maybe you can get a cheap next gen agp card for the same price.
this fx5200 card http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16814140023 or this ati solution http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16814125170 or this newer nvidia soltion http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16814143038 dont expect top notch performance like u see in conroe systems with 7900gt's but each of these cards will do fine just pick one of these

ahh.. im going with the fx5200 then... i hope i can really enjoy the games much better... The computer shop around here doesn't sell the 9550 so i will go with the fx5200..
Erm btw, does the fx5200 require any extra power cables from the Psu? i have an onboard so i cant really figure that out. How much extra watts will the fx5200 need? |

The 5200 was a direct replacement for the GeForce 4 Ti series, but not a very good one. They were developed in order to compete with ATi's recent offereings that included support for DirectX 9. The FX cards did support DX9, but not very well.
The 6200 is a MUCH better buy for your system.
