x800 xl temperatures
Hey, I have a connect3d X800 XL, and I'm using ATI Tray Tools to monitor the temperature while playing games. It's reading from 80-90 degrees Celsius, and nothing is overclocked. Is it just me, or does that seem ridiculously high? I'm not sure if it's cause it's the brand or what... could anyone point me in the right direction as to why this is happening or what to do? Thanks!

my built by ati x800xl ran at 50*C that 80-90* looks more like Farenheit then Celcius.
I would double check and also feel the HSF on the card if its super hot or not. The GPU might not have good contact with the HSF so a propper amount of Arctic Silver and cleaning might do.

Hmm.. I'm pretty sure that it is definitely reading in Celsius, because 80 F is equal to 27 Celsius, which doesn't make sense. I'll take a look at the HSF though. Also though, I don't have any air directly blowing across my card... could that affect alot? Thanks!

The Connect3D X800XL comes with a generic cooling solution, so you may need to replace it with a better VGA Cooler if reapplying the thermal grease doesn't help.
