LCD Display Problem

I have a HANNS-G JC199D 19" Flat Panel LCD Display. I tried it on my girlfriends laptop and it worked fine. I then plugged it in when I got home on my desktop computer running an ATI Rage Pro 2X (built-in to motherboard). The problem is that when I am typing or something is being drawn on the screen (such as animation, a video, new window, etc.) I receive pulsating lines.

Any sugestions, ideas, similiar problems?

first thing i would try with that size of monitor,and that old of a vid card. reduce the resolution,and see if that fixes it.

set your desktop resolutiion to 1280 x 1024 and make sure your refresh is 60hz.

get the newest drivers for every thing in your pc.. and all so get latest 32bit .net program.. not sure if lcd's are affected by this but is the lcd near and magnetic or speakers..
