Not sure if its the video card or not

For some reason when I try to play any video with .WMV or .AVI format I dont get a clear picture...

This only happened after I installed my new graphics card the x1800xt

when you installed your new card did you remove the old drivers first.is your power supply up to par to run that card

You may want to reinstall or update your codecs. www.codecguide.com should be the only resource you need for that.
