Friend needs help

Alright i was talkin to my friend and he says that he got a blue screen for tryin to load up Flight sim and he says this has happend 3 times in the last month he says that this error is unknown and he doesnt remember the BSOD any help would be appreciated. Also he says this only happens in Flight Sim.

I forgot to say that His computer nearly doesnt load up he says that the computer starts up it says Windows XP on the screen and then the loading bar and boom black screen but he says the computer is still on. His operating system is Windows Media Center.

New details my friends flight sim crashed when he was landing the screen turned different colors. Then a pop up came up sayin APU driver something and it said something wiht a graphics driver and it said to contact ATI Technoligies. His graphics card is Radeon X300 SE by ATI. Driver Version is 6.14.0010.6436.

Have you tried uninstalling current drivers and loading older ones? People who normally do that get good results, maybe it will work for you.

my friends problem is too normal for it too be a problem like that 3 BSODs in this august and 1 message of some strange driver error with the word APU someone please tell me what that is.

Can you try to post the info the BSOD and error messages said? It most likely could either be a video hardware problem or a driver problem. The real only way to tell is by the code the BSOD gives you.

Then i will repost his BSOD info. whenever he gets one again but im pretty sure he will get scared and try not ot get it again but ill try to get him the BSOD.
