In reality, all of the hardware is manufactured by ATI. ATI has partner companies, such as Sapphire and Powercolor, that will do small things to the card to spice up the deal. For example, you might get an edition that is bundled with a new PC game to help the sale of that particular video card, or you might get a card that has factory overclocks for those intense gamers looking to buy the best hardware possible. Often the standard edition of the card from ATI will be the cheapest, but Sapphire and companies of the like will offer better warranties. Its all up to how much you want to pay and/or what appeals most to you.
