Opening extra pipelines

I have this card http://www.newegg.com/product/produc...82E16814143056 and if you read the reviews, a guy mentions opening up the extra pipelines with coolbits. But how? I have coolbits, but under the frequencies, I don't see where I can do it. I overclocked it, but don't know how to open the extra pipelines like this guy mentioned. Or did he lie?

I don't believe any of the 6600s have anything more than 8 pixel pipes... You could try flashing the BIOS to a higher-grade 6600, but other than that, overclocking is the only way to squeeze more performance out of it.

How to flash the BIOS... http://www.mvktech.net/content/view/15/37/

I've only unlocked 9800's and 6800's. I've never heard of 6600's being unlockable.
