I have no idea what to do!...

Okay I have no idea how to find my video card.. I have tryed right click my comp then going to properties and click on all that other stuff.. =/
But the real problem is my directX.. I will tell you what the problems are. Oh yeah and I dont have a display adapter folder that shows me my video card.. I have no idea how or why. Okay these are the errors it is giving me.. for DirectX

1.The system is using the generic video driver. Please install video driver provided by the hardware manufacturer.

Okay this is like yeah.. I have no idea what to do about that because it doesnt say what my hardware manufacutuer is.. it just says n/a... And the other one is.

2.Direct3D functionality not available. You should verify that the driver is a final version from the hardware manufacturer.

And I dont know how to get the "final version" of Direct3D I have looked everwhere NOTHING.. Please do what you can, because im stuck. =/

Hi,

You are going to have to give us some system specs or the name and model number of the computer.

Do you know if you are using a video card or onboard video?

My System

Run Everest and go to Computer Summary for the motherboard name and video adapter. Or go to Start > Run and type dxdiag. Click the System tab to see your current DirectX version, and the Display tab for graphics card details.

Download DirectX

Please try to use the Edit button when you can as to avioid needless extra posts.

As far as your video card, yes, that's it. Did you buy this computer from a company like Dell or Gateway? If so, their website should be the easiest way to update your drivers.

Wow this cant be this hard.. All I need is a display device and for some reason I dont have one. When im in my directX thing it says that I dont have a device under display, and it says that I dont have a DirectDraw Acceleration and
Direct3D Acceleration and AGP Texture Acceleration... And yeah I just want to update my display drivers but I dont know how and I guess no one else does either.. And im just totally lost on what I have to do...
It says I dont have a manufacturer under display or chip type or DAC type
or a Approx. Total Mem. and for monitor it just saying nothing..

My System

Install the VIA 4-in-1 chipset drivers for your motherboard. Reboot and install the S3 Unichrome Pro graphics driver.

Have you downloaded and installed DirectX yet from my previous link?
