Display Probs
I recently have encountered a problem with my display - when starting up my computer (Win XP Home Edition) and logging into my profile, an error message comes up saying that RunDLL32.exe could not execute nvcpl.dll (or something to that effect).
The most obvious problem that may or may not be related to this said error message is that in my display properties, the only option for screen size is 800 x 600 and the only option for colors is 4-bit (lowest). Any help here? I tried downloading a new nvcpl.dll file, but none of the files I found online were newer than my existing one. I started up in safe mode to see if anything jumped out, and all the display options were fine. Thanks for any and all advice, I'm off to see BeerFest! so I'll check back here when I get back. |
