6800Gs bliss 512Mb probs

Hello i hope some one can help me
I have got a Gainward BLISS 6800 GS 512MB Goes Like Hell card and since i have had it my pc will crash but it would not just stop working i would get a blank screen and i would get a msg on my moniter saying no signal i would also get repted sound out of my speakers i would have to hard reset my pc at this point i have left it for some time befor to see if i get any think from my screen but i do not i some times get a msg from the nvidia troubleshooter saying "it appears your gfx card is not getting enough power" witch it should be no probs as i have a hiper type r psu 480w http://www.hipergroup.com/English/pr...hpu-4m480.html i hope some one has had this same prob and can help me with how to sort it out

Have you made sure the power plug for the graphics card is plugged in (firmly)?

I have made sure it is in yes i have take it out and cleaned it today to make sure its not getting to hot
My pc spec=CPU AMD Athlon 3000+ 64bit 1.81Ghz

you would expect to see a 550-650w supply in the system
my silverstone 650w puts out the same amps on the 12v lines as your 480w claims to supply
i would suspect yours is not supplying anywhere near it's rating
see if you can borrow a larger supply to test in it
