Radeon 9200 not working
Hi,
I bought a Radeon 9200 for my Dell Demension 2350. I bought the PCI version. When I bought it the site didn't say anything about the driver cd and manual, so I figured they were included, but they weren't. I put the card in and when I found Catalyst v4.1 online and tried to install it but it would say "INF Video Card Not Found". I did what ever I knew but it would not work. Can somebody please help me with installing this. I am a beginner so I need any help possible. Also if anyone has the drivers for it, I was wondering if you could send them to me. Thanks a lot. |

Try installing the drivers in safe mode.
Also, make sure the card is in the first PCI slot. This is commonly the PCI slot closest to the CPU, though check your motherboard manual to make sure of this. Thirdly, are you still running your monitor off the onboard video, or are you now running it off the card? If your still running it off the onboard, you may need to go into the bios and enable the card. |

HEy,
Thanks for your response. This might be a stupid question but how exactly do you do all of the things you said. I am running the monitor off the onboard video. Also in the first and top PCI slot I have my modem. What would happen if I switched them? Thanks |
