Please Help Me Radeon 9550 Se!!
Radeon 9550SE
I have a problem when i put the video card in and when it starts up it does fine but when everything is finished loading my monitor turns off and i guess the video card turns off.. Please help me. I posted before and the guy posted but he never helped me. So please help me in in need. |

If your machine boots for a while with the screen on and then the screen turns off then the video card may be setting a video mode not supported by the monitor. To see if that's the case I'd trying booting in VGA mode. There are instructions on how to do that on this page. If VGA mode works properly and the drivers for your video card are installed then you can change the video mode once it has booted to VGA mode. If VGA mode starts up properly then I'd check the display properties (open the Control Panel, double-click Display, select the Settings tab) and see if it recognizes your video card and monitor.
Is this a new video card that you've just installed or did it used to work properly and then it started having this problem? |
