My System

Sorry to say it but the new card is not even as good as the old one. It's the same model but the new one only has 128MB of ram and the old one had 256mb. However the 5200 should show fine video quality. What exactly is the problem with the video you are experiencing? Colors? skipping? square pixelation?

I have the exact same card (the second one that you just bought) and yah they are the same exact card except for the fact that the first one you had was a 256mb compared to a 128mb, which is definatley the better card (the first one I mean).

I also watch dvd's on my comp and tv etc. I personally have never had to much of a problem with the looks of dvd's or tv.

Have you checked in the nView CP or in Settings>CP>Display>Settings to see what you resolution and color settings are?

With the 128 version of the card I have been able to run in 1152x864 and highest 32bit color without any problems.
