Hi,

Because you're only using one card, SLI needs to be disabled. SLI is only for when you're using two cards. Do you have problems with any other games, or just Oblivion? Oblivion is a bit buggy at the moment, so perhaps installing the patch (available from the Elder Scrolls site) would fix the problem.

i think i need to enable it cause when i do i can check both core temperatures and in sli menu it says "Your grapics cards features NVIDIA Scalable Link Interface (SLI) technology for significant improvements in rendering performance".
anyway, ive googled around and it seems alot of people have problems with oblivion and fear when using sli.
so for now on i keep playing oblivion with sli disabled i bought this card just for oblivion and because i couldnt use it with my old motherboard, cpu etc i spend alot of money on it so i hope nvidia or bethasda softworks will release a fix soon...

my specs for if someone maybe now how to fix it:
intel p4 3.80GHz
ASUS Extreme n7800 gt dual core 512 mb
ASUS nforce 4 p5nd2 sli
2 gig ram bigfoot
and a 460w powersuply but that shouldnt be a problem since my vga card has hes own powersuply

try enabling SLI. i know what card you are talking about and it can have SLI. i dont know if your PSU could still handle the rest of your system. P4s are huge power suckers.

the powersuply shouldnt be the problem since the vga card has its own powersuply and turning sli on wouldnt put more power on the powersuply in my case.
i only have this problem with oblivion and fear when sli is enabled, and since my monitor goes in standby first and sound still playing for 10 secs im sure it has something to do with the vga card.
ive read somewhere that they are working on this issue so im afraid that theres not much i can do but w8 for a driver fix.

Hi,

What power supply including brand name and watts. List how many amps on each rail (found on the side of the power supply) of the power supply. Not saying that is it, but this will give us some clues to what is happening.

In the meantime, download and run this program which will give you the readings from your power supply, your heat readings, and your fan speeds (which don't have anything to do with this), which are also on the program.

SensorView Pro (Free to try for like 21 days – Is excellent)

Post back with information/questions/concerns.

http://www.extremeoverclocking.com/r...60w-PSU_1.html

and my powersuply temp im not sure what to look for so i took a ss of the program running.

now the program shows the cpu temp is 93C but it drops to 0 then goes to 50 to 115 and back to 0 again so i think its a bug or something, i will check that later in bios.
my case:

it has 5 coolers so everything should be well ventilated i gues

i think psu still might be problem. with out power, some components really get killed. use the power calc in my sig and add on about 20%. that psu you have is not a trusted brand btw

it says your recomended minimum power supply is 259 watts .
i realy think this is a driver issue if not im screwed, i spend all my savings on this just to play oblivion...
and what you mean with "not a trusted brand" i read only good things about it.
it doesnt feel hot like with my previous psu wich came with the case so i dont think its the psu.
IF the psu is the cause of all this wich psu would your recomend (not to expensive)?
and if the psu is the problem wouldnt it just reset?
but instead my monitor goes in standby first with the sounds still playing for like 10 secs and then reset.

i didnt mentioned this before and i just realize it might be important, when playing americas army with sli enabled i get these colored dots like when you oc your card
i can fix it with rebooting but it will happen again when i close the game and start it up again, if i keep playing my pc resets itself.
