Radeon 9200 gaming errors
Okay so i have been having BSOD eeors while i've been gaiming, initially thi was with far Cry, then it settled down and no probs, then i installed tomb raider legend and it wont run for mor than a few minutes shortly after i tried to run far cry again and after about 40 mins the BSOD errors, Now i have installed ALIAS the game and as soon as the animation is over and the game starts on D3D it's BSOD time. Now i have upgraded downgraded display drivers to no avail. Stop errors are listed in a previous thread i made i have tried everything and am going MAD!! my system more than meets reccomended specs? i just don't get it? People suggest overheating but why would it work with far cry which is far more graphically demanding that alias ? yeah farcry works pretty much all of the time now without BSOD errors but ALIAS AND TRL do not.... grr i have seen other forums with other people with the same problem but as far as i know it's impossible to solve!!!
Please help!!! Thanks¬! |

video driver will not make any difference if it is your sound driver causing the problem

for a start go here and down load and install all the drivers,your current ones date back to 2001-2002
http://www.ecs.com.tw/ECSWeb/Downloa...nuID=0&LanID=0 your C drive reports only 4% free,if you don't free up another 4gig you will end up losing everything on it set the bios to auto detect the cpu as you appear to be running at the wrong speed i could not see any sound card listed which means you are running on the onboard if you have a soundcard what is it everest reports your voltages as 12v=9.6v 5v=4.62v double check the voltages with this program and see what it reports http://www.stvsoft.com/ i think your problems are caused by a combination of different factors outdated drivers overfull hard drive possible faulty or underpowered power supply

Lots of Numbers?!
Okay! so here's the power stuff;
Power Rating 230v AC\4A 350W MAX +5V=30A,+12V=15A+3.3V=14A -5V=0.5A -12V=0.8A 5VSB=2A (+5V& +3.3V 180W MAX) sOoO yeah whatever ya think of that. Oh also i can not find any kind of CPU detection menu or option in BIOS looked everywhere ? Oh also those drivers can't be downloaded from that website? |
