DVI vs. Analog
I have a Sapphire Radeon X800 GTO2 with two DVI outputs. Right now, I'm using an old CRT monitor with a DVI to analog adapter. I'm going to buy a new monitor and I'm wondering what the performance difference is between analog & DVI. I'll be using the computer for a little bit of everything (work, games, documents, development, graphic design, DVD’s, etc.). If I got a 20" widescreen monitor that only has analog inputs, what will I be missing out on compared to one with DVI inputs? I know that "DVI is better", but what does that mean in practical terms?
Here's an example of the type of DVI and Analog monitors I'm looking at.

DVI (digital) is much better than analog VGA because it is not afected by outside interference durring transfer. If your DVI outputs are DVI-I (both analog and digital), then you will be able to use a VGA to DVI adapter.
