How to find out which company's Video/Graphic card I am using?

Hi,

How can I know that which company video Card/Graphic card I am using? Just, the following lines are written on the chip:

HIS 305 AGP
Tested To Company
with FCC Standards
For Home or Office Use

Any help please...

you could download pcwizard and install to give you detailed system specs.

Thanks. Actually the proble is I got this card from one of my friends. Niether I have the details of a manufacturer nor a drivers cd to install it. What can be done now?

it still shouldn't be a problem. i've often got drivers before for expansion cards (one was a scsi card) that were not known.

are you sure it's not SIS 305? i've heard of SIS. if you look at the central chip on the card, it should have a chipset make (such as SIS) and number. when you google them you should be able to find drivers.
i suppose you cannot take a picture of it and upload it?

SiS 305 AGP drivers for Win98 (couldn't find any for XP)

actually i never though of this, but if you are using XP it will probably recognise the card and have drivers for it. that's probably why koala didn't find any XP drivers for it.

so post back if you want to install it and you already have a card that you want to take out or disable an on board chip.
