2 sound drivers.

Alright,

So i used to use a USB headset for gaming, and it had a seperate driver for the headset, so i could set say winamp to play out of my onboard, and my game sounds through the headset. We'll that headset broke, and i got a better one with a new sound card. Theroretically, shouldnt i be able to have my audigy drivers installed with my onboard sound drivers, and set winamp or some music program to play out of the onboard, then have my sound card set as primary so all my game sounds come out of there? Not sure if anyone knows about this, so hopefully someone will be able to help.

well if the new headset is with a soundcard (im guessing pci), you wont be able to use onboard and the soundcard at the same time.
