Low sound volume
Hi All,
Can anyone help? Whenever I play a movie via the DVD drive and PowerDVD the sound volume is so low that I have to crank the manual control on the external amplifier way up. This is depite having the software controls in Windows and on PowerDVD all the way up. All other sound sources on the computer are OK. I run XP on an AMD 2600+ machine and use the onboard AC97 sound facility. Anyone else find this? Martin |

that is the way it is with most dvd's and their players the only thing that may or may not make a difference is if you plug a sound cable into the dvd drive and the sound device that you are using. it is a long shot but it may work.
