No Sound...Audigy 4

Hi,

I just installed the Audigy 4 and there's no sound. Before I had the AC97 onboard sound which I uninstalled and turned off in the BIOS. There are no conflicts and device is "working properly" according to device manager.

Im using XP/sp2.

TIA for any input.

Go to sounds and audio devices in the control panel.
Click the audio tab.
Make sure the drop down boxes have your new hardware selected.

Thanks for the reply,

Yes, SB Audigy 4 is selected on all 3 pull down menus...however i noticed this EF00 next to the name on all of them, not sure if that means anything.

Also, when i uninstall the Audigy the sound defaults to my Logitech USB Headset and strangely enough the sounds works fine then.
