No sound...
I recently had my mother-board sawdered to get the ac adapter reattached. and ever since then there has been no volume, the wires are attached and everything.
Theres no scratching like most people saying it on this forum. There is just no sound what soever... I have an HP Pavilion with WinXP and there is nothing muted and the sliders are fine... The drivers are fine and there are no X's or !'s on any of them... There is just no sound...... I have ESS Allegro PCI Audio (WDM) Any ideas? Last edited by nanook59501; 01-29-2006 at 04:52 PM. |

I'm not aware or mainboards that need that done to have AC-Adaptors re-attached? What does that mean exactly? When i have soldered motherboards in my shop i have done it for capacitor re-attachement or for voltage purposes (modding boards to run uch better when overclocked) but i'm not aware of re-soldering for sound or an AC-Adpator? Could you explain in ore detail?
